Elder
Elder is a very enthusiastic, caring individual who has been an adventure guide his entire working life. He has lead amazing trips throughout Peru and South America, New Zealand, Nepal and Europe. Elder grew up in the famous Peruvian Amazon jungle, in a small town called Puerto Maldonado. He met Ellie in 2012 and they lived in New Zealand for the last decade. Hiking and biking through NZ with small groups which led to guiding trips in the Himalayas - Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, the Mustang region and the Tour du Mont Blanc in Europe. Now they reside in Victoria, Australia with their young family. Elder loves all outdoor pursuits, in particular mountain biking and trail running. He will be your trip leader making sure you have the perfect time away.
Ellie
Ellie hails from the Victorian High Country where she grew up riding horses and getting outdoors as much as she could. She was bitten by the travel bug early and over the last 20 years has travelled to many far-off places – including Canada, UK, East and Southern Africa, Europe, Nepal and of course her beloved Peru, just to name a few! Ellie has worked in all facets of the travel industry, from being a travel agent to sales, customer service, operations and logistics, and guiding as well! The perfect all-rounder. Ellie will be your point of contact throughout your entire booking experience making sure you have everything you need before you set off on your adventures. She may even make an appearance on your trip!
Giving Back To The Communities We Visit.
Our community project in Peru is a local orphanage in Puerto Maldonado. It currently houses 15 orphans from different backgrounds and circumstances. The Belen Orphanage is part of a small privately run school by Juan Marcos Manrrique with little to no government support. We are the first commercial entity that he is able to receive any funds from. We are super proud and committed to support his efforts in providing a better future for these kids.
